How to Enter the Concert Photo Contest

You can't win if you don't enter! Read on to learn how to submit your concert photos to the contest.

Step 1: Join the Flickr Group

First you'll need to sign up for Flickr. Once you've done that and you're signed in to your account, join the 2008 Jamtopia Concert Photo Contest Group.

Step 2: Upload Your Photo

Next upload a great 2008 concert photo to your Flickr account.

Be sure to include the name of the band and date of the show in the description! And if you're feeling really ambitious, paste this into the description too…

Step 3: Send Your Photo to the Group

Go to the details page of your newly uploaded photo, click the "Send to Group" button, and choose the 2008 Jamtopia Concert Photo Contest.

Please keep in mind…

Only photos taken between Jan. 1st and Sep. 30th, 2008 are eligible
You can only enter three (3) photos so focus on your best pictures
All entries are moderated so your photo may not appear immediately

Step 4: Scope Out the Competition

Be sure to check back once in a while to see the most recent entries. You can also chat up your fellow concert photographers and talk some smack on the discussion board.

Step 5: See if You're a Finalist

Mark your calendar for October 15th. That's when you can stop by to to see if you've been selected as one of the 12 finalists.

Step 6: Cross Your Fingers

Once the finalists are chosen, our esteemed judges will choose the grand-prize winner and two runners-up. Come back on November 1st to see if you've won!
