Official Mock Show: EPIC NYE
print by David Welker
If you're heading to Miami for Phish, you won't want to miss Mock Show: EPIC NYE. The huge Phish poster exhibit will take place 10 am to 3 pm on December 30th at Miami’s luxurious EPIC Hotel Hyatt Regency Miami, walking distance from American Airlines Arena.
At the show you'll find the best Phish art from over 30 artists like Jim Pollock, David Welker, Jeff Wood, AJ Masthay, Ryan Kerrigan, Tripp, Bullock, Helton, Horan and more — not to mention an acoustic set from The Heavy Pets.
The event will raise funds for Headcount, and Waterwheel and Mockingbird will have booths as well.
If you want to find the latest updates, buy tickets ($20) or see an exhibitor list, head on over to the Mock Show blog.

I love a good Phish poster, and Festival 8 has introduced some choice new prints. Watch the space below for a growing gallery of the best Festival 8 posters, memorabilia, and other nonsense.
Official Jim Pollock Festival 8 Poster
As expected, there were multiple Pollock's last night — a colored print, edition of 1,000 and a red/cyan 3D print that came with 3D glasses, edition of 650.
I line up pretty early for this set but still managed to get shut out due to some combination of line jumpers and mediocre cardio.
And of course, there's already a ton of Festival 8 Pollocks on eBay in the $250 plus range.
Official Jim Pollock Festival 8 Masks
For a $10 donation to WaterWheel you were able to grab your choice of the four Festival 8 Halloween masks shown at left.
Each die-cut mask came with a pair of novelty cardboard glasses in an edition of 1,000 (4,000 total) and 100 uncut sheets are also out there.
David Welker Festival 8 Scratchboard Print
Rift cover artist David Welker has technical chops galore, as seen in the scratchboard Festival 8 dreamscape above. It's been pointed out that the top of the eight evokes a phallus duel, but if you can overlook that it's one hell of a print.
There are no solid plans for how this will be released just yet.
EIGHT by Ryan Kerrigan
Usually a poster artist, Ryan Kerrigan stepped it up for Indio with a set of 8 hand-painted 8 balls.
The first six sold out pretty much immediately at $88.88 a pop. The remaining pair of balls are being auctioned off with 8.8% of the proceeds going to Mockingbird and another 8.8% going to phishposters.com. Ball 7 Auction | Ball 8 Auction

The Phish Hampton reunion has come and gone, leaving a trail of Phish posters in its wake including some amazing fan art, and some great official prints.
Jim Pollock Official Print
First up, a hand-pressed Pollock Hampton poster commemorating all 3 nights. It's a three-colsor block print in an edition of 750, with Pollock's more traditional oil-based inks.
These ink go on thick, often featuring thumbprints on front, and ink from the previous poster on the back.
The posters were in incredibly high demand as evidenced by the immediate sell-out and crushing poster line in the venue on Friday and pre-show sell-out on Saturday.
If you want one of these, you'll probably have to pick it up on eBay or make a trade on EB.
Andy Cruz & Allen Mercer for House Industries Official Print (x3)
Next up are Andy Cruz & Allen Mercer with a set of three official Phish Hampton posters. There are 950 of each huge 24" x 37" print featuring the same image in different colorways.
These are 6 color Serigraphs on 220gsm archival recycled paper, hand embossed and hand-numbered. Like the Pollock, you can search on eBay or set up a trade.
NOTE: My sincere apologies to Andy Cruz & Allen Mercer from House Industries who are the actual artists for this print. I originally and mistakenly credited Daniel Lahoda as the artist of the print when in fact the poster was simply printed at Lahoda Fine Arts in Los Angeles, CA. My bad.
Phish Hampton Fan Art
Finally, we got a growing gallery of Hampton fan art posters. I'm sure you'll be seeing some of them on lot — but others will likely be much harder to come by.
