Well there may be no such thing as a free lunch, but there is such thing as free Metallica soundboards! Just head over to LiveMetallica.com, click on the vault, scroll down to the free downloads area, download, then bang your head.
There are currently 20 shows available in mp3 format, from Oct. 18 1982 at the Old Waldorf in San Francisco, CA to Jul. 13, 2003 at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, FL.
UPDATE: LiveMetallica added another free MP3 download, Donington Park from 1985, as a holiday gift to fans.
UPDATE (July 16, 2008): LiveMetallica added another free MP3 download, Charleston Civic Center from 1986.
