Rockin’ in the Mountain Jam

Here's Govt. Mule doing a nearly 10 minute version of Rockin' in the Free World with Josh Clark sitting in at the 2007 Mountain Jam.

The beginning features Warren Haynes doing a somber, bluesy, rendition of the last verse of Bob Dylan's Masters of War.

The first half of Rockin' in the Free World is pretty standard, though still rockin', as it were. Following the versus Josh has a short "experimental" solo (read: not my favorite) and that's followed by a nice bridge, again rockin'. Then Josh and Warren have a little back and forth, again a little "experimental" for my taste.

All in all, this one's more for the novelty if you ask me.
