Wow. That's really all I can say after seeing this amazing rendition of Stash on the fiddle.
Watch as Virginia native Ann Marie Calhoun and her brother Joe take on this ambitious tune and simply tear it up.
Her runs throughout the middle section are just stellar, and I can't disagree with the YouTube reviewer who pointed out how marvelous her intonation is.
Apparently I'm not her only fan... she just wrapped up a 4+ month tour with Steve Vai! Sounds like it was amazing tour based on Ann Marie's blog. Here's a great picture of Ann Marie Calhoun and Steve Vai in Lisbon.

UPDATE: Well Mrs. Calhoun’s been on quite a tear since this post. For starters, she won the “My Grammy Moment” contest at the 2008 Grammy Awards where she got to play with the Foo Fighters on national TV.
She’s also been doing a few sit-ins on the jamband scene. Don’t miss Ann Marie’s killer guest appearance with Widespread Panic which certainly overshadowed her earlier appearance with Disco Biscuits.
Plus she continues to jam with her brother, as seen in this recent video of Joe and Ann Marie playing Ripple.
Not a bad year so far — and it’s only May!
