Set 1: Tweezer > Theme From the Bottom, Foam, Pebbles and Marbles[1], You Enjoy Myself[2]
Set 2: Birds of a Feather, Wolfman’s Brother, Makisupa Policeman[3], Axilla, Twist -> Free, All of These Dreams[1], Possum[4]
Encore: Contact, Tweezer Reprise
[1] Debut.
[2] Restarted. One portion of the vocal jam was based on the name “George Takei” and another was based on the melody to Tweezer Reprise.
[3] Keywords referenced “fatty,” “Waffle House,” and “Hooters.”
[4] Instrument switching.
Phish introduced two more concert debuts: Pebbles and Marbles and All of These Dreams.
Trey restarted YEM after a sloppy attempt at the composed beginning section. One portion of the YEM vocal jam was based on the name “George Takei” (the actor who played Mr. Sulu on Star Trek) and another was based on the melody to Tweezer Reprise. Lyrics in Makisupa referenced “fatty,” “Waffle House,” and “Hooters.”
The end of Possum included bizarre on-stage antics with Page playing Trey’s guitar from his seat, Trey playing Mike’s bass, and Mike using the “B” and “Ah” cymbals normally reserved for Cracklin’ Rosie.
This improvisational Contact continued the joke of mock introductions, as Trey introduced “Al Gore.”
